Here, we have compiled answers to the questions we are most frequently asked, so that you can feel well prepared whether you are planning a stay, spa visit, meeting, conference or restaurant visit. 

We want to make your visit as simple and pleasant as possible and ensure that you have all the information you need. If you still have any questions, we are always ready to help. Please feel free to contact us.

Frequently asked questions

When is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is available from 3 p.m. Check-out is available every day of the week from 11 a.m.
It is possible to purchase an extra late check-out, but no later than 1 p.m.
Price per hour: DKK 100.

For conference guests, check-out is at 9:00 a.m.

If you wish to check in after reception has closed, please call reception in advance and we will leave your key at the reception desk. 

What are your opening hours?

The reception

Weekdays 6:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Weekends 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Day Spa

Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

If you have booked a spa stay, you have access to the spa every day of the week from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Brasserie

Monday – Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.

The hotel will be closed
from 20/12 until 27/12 and again from 1/1 until 6/1 2027. 

Where can I park?

We have 200 free parking spaces, which you will find in front of the hotel, along the building and behind the hotel. 

I drive an electric car - do you have charging points?

Yes, we have 4 Clever charging stations and 8 Base2Charge charging stations, so you can charge your electric car during your stay. Remember to bring your own charging cable.

Changing or cancelling a booking

You have the right to cancel up until 3 p.m. on the day before your arrival, and we will cancel or move your booking at no charge. All cancellations must be made in writing by email to info@hotelfaaborgfjord.dk.

For conferences, parties or larger groups, advance payment may be required.

Do you offer luggage storage?

Yes, we have a luggage storage room. Please contact reception if you would like to store your luggage. 

Is breakfast included?

 Yes, breakfast is included for all our overnight guests.

Do you have a lift?

No, unfortunately we do not have a lift. Please note that rooms on the first floor can only be accessed via stairs. Our Suites, Standard Plus View and Standard Petit View rooms are all located on the first floor. If you would like to be guaranteed a room on the ground floor, please feel free to contact reception.

Is the hotel child-friendly?

We have high chairs and rooms with connecting doors, which must be booked in advance if required. We also have rooms with extra beds for up to 4 people per room, and the option to purchase a cot that can be placed in the room.

Can I take my dog with me?

Yes, dogs are welcome at Hotel Faaborg Fjord in selected dog-friendly rooms. However, to ensure that all guests have a pleasant stay, we kindly ask you to follow our guidelines:

  • Dogs must always be kept on a leash at the hotel. 
  • There are areas for dogs. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or in the common areas, except for service dogs, which require special presentation of valid documentation at the reception desk upon check-in. 
  • There is a fee for dogs, which is DKK 200 per room per day for up to two dogs.
  • Dogs are only allowed in certain selected standard rooms. These rooms are listed when you select your room type under "book stay". 
Do you have a fitness room?

Yes, we have a fitness room in our basement. It is open 24/7 every day.

Forgotten items

If you forget something during your stay, we are here to help you. Contact reception so that we are aware of what has been forgotten and can confirm whether your items have been found.

Frequently asked questions about our Spa and Wellness

What is included in the Day Spa?

Access to the Day Spa includes two towels. It is also possible to rent a spa package that includes a towel, bathrobe and slippers.

Refreshments and fresh fruit are always available inside the spa.

How old do you have to be to use the spa?

You must be 16 years old to use our spa area.

Frequently asked questions about our restaurant

How many restaurants do you have?

We have two restaurants: Brasseriet and Restaurant Horseløkke. However, Restaurant Horseløkke is temporarily closed until spring 2026.

When can I eat breakfast?

The breakfast buffet is served in the Brasserie and is open on weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and on weekends and public holidays from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. 

What is the menu?

You can see the menu for both lunch and à la carte at Brasseriet.

Do you cater for allergens and special diets?

 Yes, however, it is a good idea to notify us of any allergies or allergens when you make your booking.

Can I eat in the restaurant without staying at the hotel?

Yes, you can. Please call the reception on +45 62 61 10 10  to book a table at the Brasserie.

Can I customise my meeting or conference?

Yes, we are happy to tailor your meeting, conference or corporate event to suit your specific needs and wishes.

What AV equipment do you offer?

We offer modern AV equipment, with the following always included as standard in our meeting and conference rooms:

  • Projector incl. screen
  • Sound system
  • Lectern or podium
  • Clickshare and/or HDMI cable
  • Laser pointer/presenter
  • AV support
  • Notepad and pen
Is there technical support during the meeting or conference?

Yes, our staff is available for technical support, so you can quickly get help if any challenges arise.

Can a room be set up according to a specific table layout?

Yes, we adapt rooms and halls to different table arrangements to suit your meeting format.

Do you offer catering for meetings and conferences?

Yes, we offer coffee, tea, snacks and full catering with lunch and dinner as desired.

Can you cater for special dietary needs?

Yes, we take allergies, vegetarian, vegan and other dietary preferences into account. We recommend that you let us know about this before your visit.

Is there access to public transport nearby?

Yes, there are several public bus routes with stops just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. We offer free bus transport to and from Odense Station for groups of at least 20 people.

Are there rooms for small groups or workshops?

Yes, we have flexible meeting rooms where smaller groups can work separately during a larger meeting or conference.

Can we get help with event planning or coordination?

Yes, you will be assigned a dedicated contact person who will help you with everything from planning and coordination to customising your meeting or conference.

Can participants book rooms during the event?

Yes, participants can book rooms directly with us, making it easy to combine accommodation with the meeting.

Is spa included in a meeting or conference package?

Our spa and wellness area is available to all overnight meeting and conference guests who wish to relax before or after their meeting.

What type of beds are there in the rooms?

All our rooms have twin beds. We ensure that the beds are spaced appropriately so that colleagues can share the room comfortably.
